The lodge

Troldhaugen Lodge, located at 13 Cobbodah Street, Jindabyne, represents a premier turn key commercial or residential investment opportunity in the heart of the Snowy Mountains. This masterfully presented property offers sweeping views across Lake Jindabyne and the surrounding area. Featuring a main 3-storey lodge and an attached 2-storey manager’s residence, this freehold property blends traditional European alpine charm with modern hospitality standards.

Jindabyne

Jindabyne is a fantastic destination all year round—whether you’re chasing winter snow or summer adventure. In the colder months, it’s a gateway to skiing and snow activities, plus cozy lodge-style downtime. When the weather warms up, it transforms into an outdoor hub for hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and time on the water around the lake.

It’s also a great base for day trips, stunning scenery, and family-friendly activities—so you can visit in any season and still have plenty to do.

Group purchase

A group lodge ownership setup typically requires communication and coordination—but for the right families, it can be an excellent alternative to renting every time.

Considering a family/group purchasing Troldhaugen Lodge as a private lodge that multiple families can enjoy together. Instead of each family searching for their own vacation place, families can combine resources to own a share in the property - built for memories, have gatherings, and time together, create quality family time in your private retreat, share ownership, create a community and create wealth as it is a long term investment for yourself and generations to follow.

Alternatively rent out the property in peak times turning the investment into income and then use it on the other parts of the year. Or another way to generate income from your investment, you could rent the manager's flat year round, and use the lodge for families, the possibilities are endless.

The owners

We have operated the business here for the past ten years, loved living here in the Snowy Mountains, and really enjoyed running the Lodge, and this is reflected in our reviews.  But all good things must come to an end, and as we near retirement we have decided to sell up.

Being part of the local Jindabyne community is something we truly value, and we’re grateful for the support and connection we’ve found here. Our son was educated at Jindabyne Central School, where he received a strong foundation and developed the skills to achieve a high level of education.

Jindabyne has lots to offer- great outdoor activities, beautiful scenery, and a welcoming community with plenty of options for families in every season. Being involved in sporting clubs and community social events, whilst taking advantage of Kosciuszko National Park both in summer and winter has been filled with unforgettable experiences.  We moved ten year ago from Sydney and it has been the best decision we have made, having a profitable business and a great environment to live in, I would seriously think about how beneficial it would be for yourself and your family/ families.
